On 25 April, 2015. The distinguished guest professor, Dr. Gao Fang, visiting professor of University of Delaware, presented his insight view under the theme Green MBA with the warmly invitation of Business School, CSU.

During this lecture, Dr. Gao Fang spoke highly of the resources and environmental protection in our school Green MBA education and expected that students could bear protection in mind and benefit to the society.

First of all, Dr. Gao Fang started the lecture by asking the question “Is there any pollution emission in your company” and then listing data which reflected the severe challenge that our country confronted. He introduced the dilemma of China’s environmental protection under the example of the video Under the Dome and the phenomenon--fog and haze. He thought that we need confidence to striveto exceed current situation after decades of years.

Meanwhile, Dr. Gao Fang stated the measures that we take, including practicing the main points of the central government environmental law amendment in 2014, sharing the environmental protection responsibility with the government and enterprise. However, in reality, the pollution remediation is not effective.

Dr.Gao Fang’ fabulous speech aroused considerable interest and widespread concern of the MBA students. He concluded that in the 21st century, managers should shoulder much more social and environment responsibility than ever and MBA program continue to cultivate business talents for the society.
