Brief Introduction About Prof. Chen (Xiaohong CHEN):

Prof. CHEN Xiao Hong, the President of Hunan University of Commerce, the Honorary Dean of the Business School of Central South University, and Deputy Director of Management Committee of “Resource-conserving and Environment- friendly society” Plot Area of Chang-Zhu-Tan City Cluster in Hunan. She is a winner of the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, and serves as a committee member of Discipline Assessment Group of State Council’s Degree Committee, a member of Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the National Master of Business Administration (MBA) supervisory committee, a member of the Evaluation Group of the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Social Science Foundation of China, and a member of steering committee for education and instruction in Management and Engineering of the Ministry of Education. She is also the group leader and chair professor in the first-level national key principle “Management Science & Engineering”, Innovation Group of National Natural Science Foundation, Major International Cooperation Project of National Natural Science Foundation, “Cheung Kong Scholars Innovation Team” and National Teaching Team of Ministry of Education. Her research is mainly in the field of decision making theories and decision making supporting platforms, financing of SMEs, two-oriented锛坮esource-conserving & environment-friendly锛塻ociety and ecological civilization construction. She has developed SmartDecision, which is China’s first decision making application software platform with independent intellectual property rights, and won National Science and Technology Progress Second Award, as well as 15 provincial and ministerial level scientific awards. So far she has published more than 70 research papers included in SCI and SSCI database.
