On August 20-21, the 2022 China Agricultural and Forestry Economic Management Academic Conference was held in Beijing. It released the list of 2022 China Young Agricultural Economists Forum Annual Scholars to honor young scholars with outstanding achievements in the field of agriculture and forestry economic management, and Associate Professor Wang Yangjie was selected as Scholar of the Year.
In this Forum, Associate Professor Wang gave a lecture entitled Nasty Wind: Identifying the Effect of Atmospheric Pollution Control in Port Cities. Based on the pollution decay function and high-frequency meteorological data, he proposed a method to identify the localized air pollution emissions in cities considering the cross-regional transmission of air pollution, and on this basis, it quantitatively assessed the pollution control effect of the emission control zone policy in port cities, which provides a new scientific basis for the environmental control and performance evaluation in China.
