Recently, the Provincial Education Department issued a document announcing the award-winning projects of the 13th Hunan Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, and The Multiple Construction and Implementation of “Three-wide and Five-dimension Education” Practical Education System in the Cultivation of Excellent Business Talents led by Dean Gong Yanping of our school won the first prize. This Award is selected every four years, aiming to reward units and individuals who have achieved remarkable results in teaching practice, reform and research, as well as to play the leading and exemplary role of teaching achievements, which is the highest level award in the field of education in our province.

Based on a number of educational reform projects and more than ten years of education and teaching reform practice, this project shows a characteristic practical education system for business talents, starting from the goal of cultivating people in a comprehensive manner through Three-wide and Five-dimension Education, and constructing six implementation paths of “moral education of knowledge and action, virtual simulation on-campus practical training, dual-track off-campus internship, creative exploration of innovation and entrepreneurship, two-way collaboration of school-enterprise cooperation, and project-based research and education” to improve students’ abilities.

Our school will continue to attach importance to talent cultivation, dig deep into the characteristics and advantages of undergraduate education and teaching, integrate resources, and promote the talent cultivation to the next level.
