On March 19, donation and charity sale was successfully held in Shenghua Square of South Campus, Tiedao Campus and Xiangya New Campus of Central South University(CSU). It was jointly organized by the Youth Volunteer Department of the Youth League Committee of Business School, the Youth Volunteer Association of the Youth League Committee of Public Administration School, the Youth Volunteer Department of the Youth League Committee of the Life Sciences School, as well as the Youth Volunteer Association of the Youth League Committee of Resource and Safety Engineering School of CSU.

The students came to the activity site one after another with old clothes, old books and other unused items, and handed over the carefully prepared donations to the staff. Those items will all be liquidated after sorting and counting, and then given to the children in the impoverished areas in the form of pens. The staff prepared souvenirs for each donor, and set up games such as pitch-pot, draw and guess, as well as blind box searching.

Meanwhile, the charity sale was also very popular. The cultural and creative products designed by the Youth Volunteer Department were of good quality and low price, which attracted many students and teachers to buy them.

This activity inspired the students’ enthusiasm for public welfare and will practically help the children in the impoverished areas.
