Recently, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Science Planning issued the evaluation results of the key projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China for the year 2021, the project Strategy and Policy Research on the Domestic Substitution of Key Core Technologies for Intelligent Manufacturing (21AZD117) declared by Professor Zhou Xiongwei’s team of the School stood out in the fierce competition and won.
This project aims to realize the domestic substitution of core technologies in China’s intelligent manufacturing, analyzes and summarizes the international pattern and global development trend of core technologies in intelligent manufacturing from a global perspective, identifies the constraints of core technologies’ domestic substitution. It is based on the national strategy of the development of core technologies for intelligent manufacturing, focusing on the two major problems of “having” and “using” the domestic substitution of core technologies, and researching related solutions. This project will help to make a breakthrough of China’s intelligent manufacturing core technology innovation and make it “independent and controllable, safe and reliable” ; it can promote the application of China’s intelligent manufacturing core technology localization, and make it “efficient and available”. It is of great theoretical value and practical significance.
This key project is a major breakthrough of Professor Zhou’s research team, and another landmark achievement of the School in recent years.
